Gene Pisasale and Phyllis ReccaFood Wine Travel History was founded by Gene Pisasale and Phyllis Recca in 2005 and is located in Kennett Square, Pa., within the historic Brandywine Valley. Gene has worked as an energy analyst/portfolio manager in the investment industry since 1986 and previously traveled extensively as a petroleum geologist. Phyllis has worked in the computer industry since 1974 and is currently CEO of GG-One Software. Both are authors - Gene has published two novels including his recent historical mystery "Lafayette's Gold - The Lost Brandywine Treasure" - Phyllis has two illustrated children's books titled "Bat Bebe" and "Bat Bebe - ABCs and Aliens." All of their books can be found on Amazon.com.

Gene and Phyllis created this website to share their enjoyment of the historical sites, great food and wines and interesting places they've experienced over more than thirty years. Their travels across the United States and several foreign countries inspired them to share their insights of the best places to see, food and wine to enjoy and historical spots to visit.

DEDICATION : This website is dedicated to my mother, Ida Pisasale, who instilled in me a love for life and an interest in the endless variety of people, places and things on this great Earth. Her belief in the fundamental principles of honesty, hard work and kindness to others  has inspired me to travel and explore the world, sharing her beautiful vision and loving perspective on life.
